The five-inch ferro rod throws a 5,500 degree shower of sparks even when wet, lighting tinder on the first scrape. Comes with a serrated stainless striker and a paracord lanyard hand-braided in safety orange so it never disappears into the leaf litter. Field-rated for 12,000 strikes.
